The Department of Chemistry, Dimoria College was established in 1993 with Chemistry as a General subject. After that in the year 2017, Major Courses in Chemistry have been introduced under Gauhati University. The Aim and Objective was to develop the interest in Chemistry among students for their scientific upliftment and applying the knowledge to build a developed society around them.
